The X-Guard Alarm app makes it possible for anyone with a smartphone to sound the alarm during an emergency.
With the X-Guard Alarm app, anyone can send an alarm anywhere: a connection is immediately made with the right emergency services. Assistance can come from people or colleagues nearby or, after verification by our emergency center, from the police and/or our national network of mobile surveillance companies.
The X-Guard Alarm app was built by our own team of specialists and is continuously developed. Both Android (such as Samsung) and iOS (iPhone) smartphones are supported.
Different situations require different needs and different safety solutions. We distinguish between situations of aggression and violence and emergencies.
First of all, the “aggression and violence situation”. In these types of situations it is not desirable to raise the alarm "visibly" with a telephone. In the event of aggression and violence, you want to raise the alarm without the attacker realizing it – a silent alarm. We have developed a number of alarm buttons with which a silent alarm can be sent:
The second emergency situation that we distinguish is the situation in which you are no longer able to raise the alarm yourself during an emergency, or the man-down function. Our own developers have come up with a smart solution for this. The app detects the movement you make, similar to a pedometer, are you not moving enough? The X-Guard Alarm app can be used for various situations. Many of our customers are business customers who sometimes... to work alone or “lone workers” (lone workers) employ. This includes, for example, mental health care workers and bailiffs who only make home visits, but also service technicians. In addition to a business solution, we also serve more and more private individuals who would like to be able to send an alarm in the event of an emergency. We are continuously working on automating the actions and settings in the Alarm app to ensure that using the Alarm app is simple, automatic and user-friendly.
Deciding when to turn the The X-Guard Alarm app therefore does this almost automatically for you. This setting is called “Automatic switching”. After adding the addresses in the app, you decide how the app should switch when approaching and leaving this address and you no longer have to manually set the buttons yourself when you approach the location or when you use the leaves location. In addition to an alarm button for individuals, X-Guard also offers innovative systems for calling emergency response services (BHV) and for automatically raising the alarm in the event of emergencies (man-down).
X-Guard offers an innovative man-down system. Movement is monitored using the Risk button in the X-Guard Alarm app: only at places and times when security is required. If insufficient movement is detected for the set time, the phone will automatically send an alarm.
By using the X-Guard Alarm app, emergency response personnel can immediately receive an emergency call and be summoned faster and more efficiently. The app switches on automatically when the emergency response officer arrives at the branch. The app switches off automatically outside the branch. The app also checks whether there are sufficient emergency response staff on call at the branch
