The Simple Alarm Button

With the introduction of the LoRaWAN Alarm Button, we offer the solution for visiting an area where there is almost certainly no GSM or WiFi network. The technology in the Alarm Button uses the LoRaWAN® network that has been rolled out by KPN throughout the Netherlands. In combination with the X-Guard Alarm app, your location, both indoors and outdoors, can be determined very accurately. The LoRaWan Alarm Button is compact and can withstand a knock. You wear the button on your waistband or very comfortably with a special cord around your neck.

X-Guard Alarm app features

The LoRaWAN Alarm Button is a true emergency button , specifically for areas where there is no internet via GSM and/or WiFi. The LoRaWAN Alarm Button does not have the features you are used to from the X-Guard Alarm app. This makes it a good, very reliable, and flexible addition to the X-Guard Alarm app.

It is only safe if someone comes to help you

If you sound the alarm via the LoRaWAN Alarm Button, a signal will immediately go out to people or colleagues (BHV) nearby. After receiving the signal, they confirm that they will help. If there are insufficient or no emergency responders, the

KPN LoRa On Premises Gateway

X-Guard is happy to carry out a measurement on location to check whether there is sufficient coverage of the KPN LoRaWAN network. If there is insufficient coverage, we recommend installing the KPN LoRa On Premises Gateway there.
The KPN LoRa On Premises Gateway is intended for use in locations where insufficient coverage from KPN is (yet) guaranteed. It is also suitable for locations where there is a high density of LoRa devices. Another reason to install the Gateway that guarantees increased coverage quality is to extend the battery life of the Lora equipment. The gateway connects to the internet and is equipped with a 4G SIM card as a backup.
