BouWatch and X-Guard are entering into an intensive collaboration. BouWatch, known as the market leader in temporary security at outdoor locations, has already made significant steps in expanding its range of services to include tools for worker registration and access control. With the new partnership with X-Guard, the all-round service provider now also focuses on worker safety, with rapid alarm response in the event of emergencies.
With X-Guard, BouWatch offers extra safety for workers at temporary (construction) locations. “We believe it is important that not only locations are properly secured, but that construction workers also feel safe and are always assured of adequate assistance in the event of emergencies. Thanks to the collaboration with X-Guard, we now also offer mobile personal security.” This is what Maarten de Roos, CEO of the BouWatch Group, says. “The BouWatch & X-Guard service ensures that every worker is always connected to the right assistance in the event of an emergency.”
With the BouWatch & X-Guard service, workers can easily raise the alarm in the event of an emergency using their own telephone with the X-Guard app and alarm/panic button. For example, in situations involving aggression or violence or in the event of a 'man down' when someone becomes unwell or unconscious. Thanks to the alarm manager software, we can immediately monitor and listen in our own alarm center. The exact location is being determined. The location of care providers, a surveillance company and/or colleagues is also known. If a follow-up procedure is required, the center will immediately call in appropriate assistance. “This means that workers at an outdoor location are always assured of the best possible assistance in the event of an emergency. We not only signal, but actually follow up on the alarm,” says De Roos. “Making construction even safer together, that is our mission.”
