The X-Guard Alarm app makes it possible for anyone with a smartphone to sound the alarm during an emergency.

With the X-Guard Alarm app, anyone can send an alarm anywhere: a connection is immediately made with the right emergency services. Assistance can come from people nearby or, after verification by our emergency center, from the police and/or our national network of mobile surveillance companies.

The X-Guard Alarm app was built by our own team of specialists and is continuously developed. Both Android (such as Samsung) and iOS (iPhone) smartphones are supported. If you prefer a separate, physical alarm button instead of an app, we can offer you the Advanced or the Simple Alarm Button. Raise an alarm in the event of aggression, violence & emergencies

Aggression and violence – alarm with an alarm button

Different situations require different needs and therefore different solutions. The philosophy behind the Alarm app distinguishes two basic situations: first, the "aggression and violence situation" where it is not desirable to alarm with a telephone. You want to raise the alarm in the event of aggression and violence without the attacker realizing it. To do this, we have developed a number of alarm buttons, so there is always an alarm button that suits you. Read more about the alarm buttons we offer in the following blocks:

• Bluetooth Alarm Button –  A Bluetooth Alarm Button can easily be linked to the X-Guard Alarm app. This means that the phone does not have to be picked up or unlocked to send an alarm and can easily be done with one press of the alarm button (3 seconds) an alarm is sent. The alarm button can be linked to the app in the app panic- or assistancebutton.

• Extensive Alarm Button – Using a smartphone to alarm has many advantages, such as better location determination, you only have to carry one device with you, you only have to charge one device and you only need one SIM card. However, there are still plenty of people who prefer to use a separate Alarm Device. For this reason we have also included an Alarm Device in our range. Naturally equipped with the latest hardware and software and equipped with cameras and calling function, this Alarm Device can also be used as a mobile phone and in the near future even as a body camera in combination with the X-Guard Alarm app.

• Simple Alarm Button – With the Simple X-Guard alarm button you are Safe Everywhere, even in places where there is no internet! X-Guard has developed a simple alarm button that allows an alarm to be sent with one push of a button. In the event of an emergency, all you have to do is press the round button: the right help will be called immediately.

Calamities – unconsciousness – automatic alarm

The second emergency situation that we distinguish is the situation in which you are no longer able to raise the alarm yourself during an emergency, or the man down function. Our own developers have come up with a smart solution for this. The app detects the movement you make, similar to a pedometer, are you not moving enough? The X-Guard Alarm app can be used for various situations. Many of our customers are business customers who sometimes work alone or employ lone workers. This includes, for example, mental health care workers and bailiffs who only make home visits, but also service technicians. In addition to a business solution, we also serve more and more private individuals who would like to be able to send an alarm in the event of an emergency. We are continuously working on automating the actions and settings in the Alarm app to ensure that using the Alarm app is simple, automatic and user-friendly.

Ease of use

Deciding when to turn the The X-Guard Alarm app therefore does this almost automatically for you. This setting is called “Automatic switching”. After adding the addresses in the app, you decide how the app should switch when approaching and leaving this address and you no longer have to manually set the buttons yourself when you approach the location or when you use the leaves location. Automatic switching

It is important that you can work well protected - in risky places, in places where safety is required. At these locations it is important that your “Own security” is switched to “Risk”. This enables the man-down function. In places where safety is more obvious, such as at home, you probably don't need the Risk button and it doesn't need to be enabled.

The Risk button can switch automatically based on an address and/or X-Guard Beacon. This means that when approaching the address or entering a room where an X-Guard Beacon is located, “Own security” is set to “Risk”. X-Guard Extended Alarm Button

Aggression training
