Ascom Myco 3
The Myco 3 is a robust and professional Android Enterprise Recommended smartphone that works on DECT, VoWiFi and mobile networks. Installing Ascom Myco 3 devices
If you use the Ascom Myco 3 devices (we do not work with Myco 2 devices) you can set the two buttons on the side and the button on the top as an alarm button. We can connect the button to the X-Guard Alarm app so that you can use this button as an alarm button. Read below step-by-step how you can set the buttons on a Myco 3 device as an alarm button.
- Download the X-Guard Alarm app from the Playstore. Install and register on Myco 3 devices is the same as on other Android devices. Click on the button at the bottom of this page for more information install and register. Your device may be managed. This means that the IT department of your company or organization must install the app.
- After installing the Alarm app, you must set the top "Multi function key" as an alarm button.
- Go to your phone's settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down a bit
- Click on ''Ascom settings''
- Click on ''configuration key''
- Click on ''top Multi function key
- Make your choice: how do you want to send an alarm?: (''long press'' or ''press several times'')
- Click on ''function'' and choose ''custom intent''
- Under 'define the intent's action', choose one of the following intents:
Red alert– en.xguard.alarm.headsetbutton.red
Orange alarm – en.xguard.alarm.headsetbutton.orange
Green alarm – en.xguard.alarm.headsetbutton.green - Under 'Define the component of the intent', choose nothing, leave it empty.
Note: The Myco 2 becomes did not more X-Guard supported.
