X-Guard has developed an extensive “all-in-one” alarm button including a “man down” function, with which an alarm can be sent at the touch of a button. In the event of an emergency, all you have to do is press the button and you will be immediately connected to the appropriate emergency services.

The Extended X-Guard Alarm Button is an all-in-one alarm button: a compact and user-friendly device that can easily be used anywhere to activate an alarm. This gives you all the functionalities of the X-Guard Alarm app, but in a single device.

When an alarm is triggered, the location of the detector can be accurately determined, both indoors and outdoors. The alarm button is robust and waterproof.

Instructions for use Extensive alarm button

With the Extended Alarm Button you can effortlessly activate and send a panic alarm, an assistance alarm and/or a man-down alarm.

Panic alarm: Press the button to immediately send an alarm signal in case of emergency.

Assistance alarm: Use the button to ask for help or call for support when needed.

Man down alarm: The device can detect when someone falls or is in an emergency situation and automatically sends an alarm to activate help.

Send an alarm

You can activate a panic alarm by long pressing the red button on the left. The device will now vibrate to confirm that the emergency call is being sent. After activating an emergency call, the following steps are taken:

People in the immediate vicinity (BHV) are warned.
The X-Guard alarm center will be informed and will call the police after verification.
The emergency center mobilizes mobile invigilators.
The emergency center will contact key holders.

*The operator can deduce from the conversation that the police must be called. If there is any doubt, the operator will contact the alarm device.

Send emergency calls

For everyday use

Remove the alarm button from the charger. The man-down function is automatically active (default). After use, connect the phone to the charger again (man-down is automatically inactive) so that the next user can also make optimal use of the emergency phone. The button above the red button is the on/off button of the alarm button. Press this button and the app will appear on the screen.

Test whether everything works

Check whether the alarm button functions properly by pressing the power button (the button above the red Fn button). Then open the app and press the green button to activate a test alarm. You will receive a critical message containing all relevant information regarding this test alarm.

The X-Guard Extended Alarm Button uses 4 GPS systems: GPS, BDS, GLONASS and Galileo. The device is equipped with NFC and a USB Type-C connection. The screen has Gorilla Glass for extra strength and is equipped with a belt clip as standard.

The dimensions of the device are 118 mm in height, 59,5 mm in width and 22,5 mm in thickness, with a weight of 198 grams. The red alarm button is located on the side of the device, and a robust belt clip is attached to the back.
