An alternative solution: X-Guard & Samsung

We wouldn't be X-Guard if we didn't have alternative solutions. In close collaboration with Samsung, we have made it possible to use the side and/or top button of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 and the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro Entreprise Edition as an alarm button!

If you are interested in alarming with an XCover 5 or an XCover Pro, please contact us! You can read more about alarming with a Samsung smartphone via the buttons at the bottom of this page.

What happens if you continue to use the alarm button?

When you insert the Headset Alarm Button into an Android 11 device, the speakers in the phone are muted. You will then hear nothing more. The use of a Headset Alarm button therefore hinders the functioning of the telephone and the functioning of the Alarm app, which means uw safety can no longer be guaranteed.
