Integrate emergency number

We can set up an internal emergency number for you for quick and accurate resolution of an alarm. By calling this emergency number, emergency response personnel or AIT employees, for example, can be called without the intervention of a third party (e.g. receptionist), so that the emergency response team can reach the employee in need of assistance without delay.

How it works 

We first register the telephone numbers of the employees who must be able to alert the internal emergency number. You provide a list of telephone numbers for this purpose. The internal emergency number can be a regular telephone number that is then linked to a telephone number provided by X-Guard. We recommend one shortened emergency number (e.g. 777) to be used to alert the emergency number.

When someone sends an alarm via the (abbreviated) emergency number, the call is transferred to the number to which the emergency number is linked. We then check whether the number of the person sending an alarm is in the list of telephone numbers. If this turns out not to be the case, we will cancel the promotion. When the number is in the list, the following can happen:

  1. a call is transferred to an automated band that indicates that the call has been confirmed and that help (e.g. the emergency response team) is on its way.
  2. You will automatically be transferred to an employee (e.g. the emergency response team) who can provide direct assistance. They receive information about the emergency call from the colleague in need of help in the Alarm app

We will set it up for you

X-Guard can set up the above for you, all you have to do is provide a list of the telephone numbers of the employees + the internal emergency number to which emergency calls can be sent (e.g. 777)

You can provide the list of telephone numbers by:

  • send an email with the telephone numbers to be integrated (i.e. all telephone numbers of the employees who must be able to alert the internal emergency number) + the abbreviated emergency number.
  • every employee who needs to be able to raise an alarm call the internal emergency number to download the Alarm app - we then integrate these telephone numbers.
