The X-Guard Expertise Team
The X-Guard Expertise Team is an important factor for change and improvement within X-Guard. Our developers are inspired by feedback, ideas and wishes from the Expertise Team. We continuously want to get the best out of the Alarm app and that is why the expertise of our app users is of unprecedented importance.
X-Guard regularly makes changes and improvements to the X-Guard Alarm app. This results in a new version of the app. Members of the Expertise Team will have the opportunity to test the app and provide our team of developers with feedback well before the official release of the new app. The members of the Expertise Team are kept informed of news, changes and improvements by email.
Beta tester
When X-Guard has updated the Alarm app and made changes, the Expertise Team members will be the first to test the new app. Before the official app release, we prepare a "beta version" of the updated app for them so that they can try out the new functions, changes or improvements.
Check if you are a beta tester
You can see if you are already registered as a beta tester in the Playstore (Android) or in Alarm app (iOS).
- Android: You can see if you are a beta tester in the Playstore. You can look up the Alarm app in the search bar. Then click on the get X-Guard logo at the top left. Here you will find further information about the app. When you scroll down a little you will see a heading with “you are a beta tester' to stand,
- iOS: You can tell if you are a beta tester by opening Testflight (app) and seeing if the X-Guard Alarm app is listed. Apps that are in Testflight also have a yellow dot
appear before the app name on the home screen.
Are you already a beta tester? Update the beta version:
- Android: update the Alarm app in the Playstore.
- iOS: update the app in the Alarm app – you will receive a push notification.
