Medior/Senior Full-stack application developer

We are looking for a medior or senior full-stack application developer who will join a young and growing team.

X-Guard has recently started a new development process in which several applications are being rebuilt. These applications are built in React-Native, with part of the project also being developed in Native code. These client-side applications naturally also include server-side applications. As a full-stack application developer, you will help set up the new Kubernetes clusters as well as writing APIs and integrating them into clients.

Within a few years we hope to renew our entire product portfolio according to the latest standards. Within these innovations there is a lot of room for input, thinking along is appreciated and encouraged.

You will primarily focus on linking the back-end architecture to the front-end. An affinity with back-end systems, being able to devise complex architectures and working with scalable applications is something you are not afraid of. Terms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud and AMQP do not scare you.

Perhaps cliché, but you have to be able to work very solution-oriented. You, together with the rest of the team, will be confronted with important and impactful issues. As a candidate, you are able to analyze multiple choices in a considered manner and then make decisions.

Do you choose one database or the other? And why? Do we set up our new Kubernetes cluster now or do we continue running via Google Cloud Run for the time being? Where is the tipping point?

These issues are important and we are emphatically looking for a candidate who can think strongly analytically about questions like these. Lots of responsibility and straight into the deep end. But if it's good, you'll really enjoy it!
