Recreating campsite experiences believe in an app that connects everyone in an emergency, without violating your personal privacy. Realize that wherever you are, there is always someone nearby who can help you. In densely populated countries such as the Netherlands, there is always someone within one or two kilometers of you, without you possibly being able to see it yourself.
X-Guard is committed to one safe world with a vision of the future in which the safety of everyone is guaranteed. In an ideal world, just wearing personal protection should lead to more safety. People who are guilty of street harassment or worse who are deterred by the knowledge that everyone, everywhere, safe is. That help comes when someone needs it.
What do we want to achieve?
- Dat everybody can download an app to a phone worldwide that can send an emergency call and, if desired, receive emergency calls from other app users. In this way we create a network in which everyone helps each other.
- The app must be so smart that it can recognize dangerous situations and that in the event of an emergency - such as violent situations, an accident or when things are not going well for health reasons - an emergency call is automatically sent. We have to work together with, for example, Smartwatch and similar apps that can monitor your health.
- In the event of an emergency call, other app users nearby (up to 200 meters) are immediately called, without the intervention of the emergency center.
- If there are no other app users nearby who can receive the emergency call or are unable to provide assistance, the emergency center is called. The operator then determines whether the police or ambulance should be deployed. If the operator cannot determine this, it will be checked whether app users within a radius of 2000 meters are available to provide assistance.
- If no one is available within 2000 metres, a mobile invigilator will be deployed to see what is going on. Help is always coming!
